Project Overview

The One Africa Project, initiated by Repaired Nations and Abibikwantuo, aimed to transform the One Africa Resort in Elmina, Ghana, into a cooperative business model. This campaign focused on engaging the Black Diaspora to invest and participate in a sustainable development model that directly benefits local communities in Ghana, while helping the diaspora build generational wealth.

Objectives

  • Develop the campaign’s messaging to attract new potential donors and investors

  • Engage potential investors and donors through targeted digital outreach.

  • Create a robust lead generation system that nurtures interest through educational content and direct engagement.

  • To create a dynamic content strategy that educates, informs, and drives participation.

The Process

The One Africa Project's strategy deployed a dynamic digital marketing approach aimed at engaging and educating potential donors and investors about sustainable cooperative business models in Ghana. The campaign combined educational content, strategic interactions, and compelling visuals to effectively communicate the project's value and foster community involvement.

  • Message Development: We worked hand and hand with the Repaired Nations team to develop a strong message that would be the foundation of the entire campaign. From the core message, we were able to write the video script for the main campaign video, create scripts for the team to conduct outreach, and use it to provide direction for the digital ad and social media copy.

  • Lead Generation: For lead generation, we used a multi-platform approach that focused on driving organic traffic through partnerships and collaborations, while also using a weekly informational session as a form of lead magnet to attract new interested donors and investors to their email list.

  • Email Marketing: As most of their audience isn’t regularly on social media, we used email marketing to ensure the message was being heard and delivered consistently. Starting with preparing weekly updates that highlighted the campaign’s progress along with bi-weekly emails to the audience who signed up for their weekly informational meetings.

  • Social Media Management: We utilized Instagram as the main social media platform to educate on the benefits of cooperatives, investing, and getting involved with the project.

  • Videography & Story Telling - Our team came together to create the campaign video that was used to tell the story behind the campaign. Through a focused script and detailed visuals, we were able to effectively communicate the message our client wanted the world to hear.

Campaign Visual Identity

For this project, we explore how we shaped the visual identity of the One Africa Project. We've carefully chosen design elements like colors and fonts to perfectly reflect the campaign’s values, ensuring each piece of communication not only catches the eye but also deeply resonated with their core audience.

Campaign Video

Through this campaign video, we created a custom script for our client to utilize, as it was our goal to tell the full story rather than simply ask for donations. We focused on sharing the deeper “why” allowing us to resonate deeply with the audience we were seeking to attract, while communicating the value of this project.

Social Media

To prepare for this campaign; we knew that we needed to completely rebrand the social media pages to successfully attract the right audience. Our main goal was to find a fun and engaging way to educate and keep our audience engaged, while keeping the momentum high. Through custom reels, carousels, and graphics we were able to successfully rebrand the social media page.

3D Renderings

To effectively communicate the vision of the One Africa Project to potential investors, our 3D Rendering Team designed the chalets and restaurant to visually showcase a complete transformation of the resort. These designs were crucial in providing a clear, visual representation of the proposed renovations, helping to illustrate the transformative impact and engage stakeholders more deeply with the project’s potential.
